1. General Information

The Data Controller is the DIAMETER Consortium, coordinated by Sabanci University (SU), acting on behalf of the consortium partners.

  • Sending newsletters or training content only upon your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a))
  • Supporting statistical evaluation and project reporting in anonymous or aggregated form (Art. 6(1)(f))

Personal data is kept only as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes or comply with legal obligations.

  • ILIAS LMS (for DIAdemia)

All services are GDPR compliant and hosted in the EU or under appropriate safeguards.

4. Forms, Newsletter, and E-learning

Data collected may include name, email, organization, consent preferences, and e-learning activity.

Purposes:

  • Send newsletters (Art. 6(1)(a))
  • Provide access to DIAdemia (Art. 6(1)(a))
  • Collect feedback (Art. 6(1)(a))

Only authorized project partners process data under strict confidentiality.

Data retention:

  • Contact forms: 12 months
  • Newsletter: until opt-out
  • DIAdemia: project end + 12 months

Rights under GDPR:

  • Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent.
